LSBU organized a series of activities and events to celebrate the Black History Month in October this year. The Confucius Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine (CITCM) was invited to showcase the Chinese language and culture.
During the celebration, the CITCM showed Chinese calligraphy, Chinese paper-cutting and the lion dance. Students and staff from different countries sat around the CITCM exhibition area and learnt how to write Chinese characters from the teachers. Staff and students also learnt paper cutting, calligraphy and dance from the CITCM teachers.
Students and staff also showed interet in further learning of the Chinese language. The activity successfully concluded in the afternoon.
