School Engagement
Since 2007 we have been working with primary and secondary schools in London, and due to the success of our efforts, we now have a number of longstanding partnerships. Our work in schools provides students with the unique opportunity to learn Mandarin and to participate in a diverse range of cultural activities. We hope that such active engagements will help students develop a strong sense of international awareness and cultural understanding.

Two CI teachers have been working with us for a year. During that time both teachers have demonstrated that they are fully competent in planning and delivering lessons that have supported children from EYFS to Year 6 in developing confidence in Mandarin. I have been extremely impressed with the start of our two Mandarin teachers. They are respectful, courteous and always conduct themselves with the utmost decorum. They have spent the first two weeks observing various lessons of differing subject areas and they have also shadowed many students from differing year groups. During this time they have been able to absorb various different teaching styles and learning practises. Currently they have been planning and discussing matters with the head of languages in order to be fully prepared to deliver Mandarin to groups at various levels; beginner, G.C.S.E and AS LEVELS. They have given full commitment whilst here and are they are truly a credit to your organisation.
