The Chinese New Year Roadshow Has Come Back
CITCM’s well-sought-after Chinese New Year celebration performances and workshops have finally resumed after three years of suspension and expectation. The performance team has delivered nearly 30 performances and 90 workshops in local communities during the Chinese New Year period.
The roadshow features a variety of programmes, including Tai Chi, martial arts with the broadsword and staff, traditional Chinese musical instrument (guzheng), folk dance, and traditional Chinese stylish attires show. This year our giant panda mascot has been incredibly popular with the pupils and students.
In addition to the performances, CITCM also runs a variety of cultural workshops. The teachers and students expressed their gratitude to CITCM team as the performances and workshops have broadened their horizon, strengthened their understanding of Chinese culture, and deepened the pupils’ and students’ interest in learning Mandarin.
