Postscripts to Han Dynasty Pictorial Bricks
Xie Jiahua is an accomplished calligrapher in China. His works exhibited here are created by way of writing postscripts on the ink rubbings of Han Dynasty carved bricks, thus combining modern calligraphy and ancient pictorial images, to create a new artistic form that adds an historical flavour to his works and at the same time brings to new life an ancient form of art.
