On Friday 13th January CITCM's annual roadshow started with a spectacular performance at Benenden School in Kent. The Chinese New Year Roadshow is an annual event during which the CITCM performance team travels across London, and beyond, delivering exciting performances and celebrating Chinese New Year with all who attend.
This year CITCM will deliver over 50 performances in London, Brighton, Oxford and Bangor. In addition to performing at primary and secondary schools, CITCM will deliver large performances at Universities, shopping centres and more.
This year the performance team is bigger than ever and consists of five martial artists, two dancers, a group of talented musicians. This guarantees a well rounded performance reflecting different aspects of Chinese culture.
This year Chinese New Year falls on the 28th of January. To mark this date, the C performance team will be taking a well deserved rest before continuing the roadshow all the way through until March.
The team looks forwards to celebrating the year of the Rooster with all who will attend.
