Case Study Workshop

Case studies have been central to the development of traditional Chinese medicine but does this still hold true? What is their role in contemporary practice and in research? During this workshop we will be bringing together practitioners and researchers to discuss these issues, to present their own case studies and to move towards the development of a searchable database of cases.

As well as the cases there will be a few more theoretical talks to provide a framework for the day, including Volker Scheid on historical perspectives and Beverley de Valois on the place of case studies in contemporary practice and research.
